MAYBO Level 2 Physical Intervention Course
This is a 1 day course and includes practical and theory examinations.

Maybo has teamed up with Skills for Security and the BIIAB to provide a professional approach to physical intervention that responds to the recently released sector guidance.
This course is offered both as a standalone 1 day course and a part of the Door Supervisor course.

COURSE OUTLINE: Security – Door Supervision (30 hrs)
If you intend to work a-s a Door Supervisor or Security Guard in the UK you are now required to complete a national qualification and apply for a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence.
The BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisor qualification is nationally recognises and will allow you to obtain your licence to practice.
The course is aimed at any person responsible for security, protection, screening the suitability of people entering premises or dealing with conflict in the pubs, clubs and other licensed premises open to the public.
This course is widely respected and once delegates have received their SIA door supervisor license they may work as a:
- Door Supervisor
- Security Guard
- Retails Security Officer
- Event Steward
- Hotel Security
Part 1 - Working in the Private Security Industry
This unit covers the following topics:
- The Private Security Industry
- Relevant legislation
- Health and Safety in the Workplace
- The principles of fire safety
- Non- fire workplace emergencies
- The principles of effective communication and customer care
Part 2 - Working as a door supervisor
This unit covers the following topics:
- Behaviour standards for door supervisors
- Door supervisors and the law
- Access control and searching
- Arrest
- Drugs
- Incident recording and crime scene preservation
- Licensing law and social responsibility
- Safety and security
Intended Outcomes

BIIAB Level 2 CCTV Operations (Public Spaces Surveillance)
This is a 4 day course and includes practical and theory examinations.
This course is delivered over four days and includes teh following elements:
- CCTV Codes of Practice, Operational Procedures and Guidelines
- Relevant Legislation and how it impacts on CCTV operations
- Roles and responsibilities of the CCTV Operator and other CCTV Staff
- The characteristics of a CCTV system
- How to make effective use of CCTV equipment
- Emergency Procedures in the CCTV Control Room
